Welcome to my Blog
Welcome to my Blog and our new DTW Today website. Our local DTW Employee Involvement Team (EIT) has been working very hard to find ways to improve communication in DTW at all levels within the organization. Special thanks to web master Rick Palmer who built the DTW Today website and my Blog. I will be using the blog to keep you informed and give you the opportunity to post comments or ask questions. Our EIT will be surveying employees on what type of information you want to see in the website. Feel free to use my blog to pass on comments.
As our company moves forward, it is important that we build a better communication link between all of us. Our EIT is going to work closely with the leadership team and myself to ensure we find several avenues to communicate and although we all love technology, nothing beats face to face time.
So again, welcome to my blog and I look forward to sharing information, reading your comments and answering your questions.
Thank you for your commitment and sacrifices over the past year, you are truly a valued asset and have earned all of our respect.

hey mark, thank you for doing the blog and subjecting yourself to all the comments and questions to follow. word is spreading fast. i heard about this from an eit member. well lets get started...is there any way you can reward/thank all of us who actually came in to work on this superbowl sunday to brave the elements and the sick/FMLA calls? maybe nwa should declare super sunday a holiday in it's self and give all who come in to work on afternoons (because days is not affected) $50? (just an idea) or how about on these real cold days (like today)bring back the coolers filled with hot choclate like we used to have. the vending machines were giving out free hot beverages, but for some of us that wasn't possible to enjoy. it was way out of the way and we were so shorthanded we could not spare the time to go. just some potential ideas to chew on. i'm sure you will hear many more ideas and comments to come... thanks again
Hello Mr.Gurney, I am a laid-off aricraft cleaner and is there any chance of Northwest calling back cleaners? Just wondering.
Sorry, but there currently is no plans on recalling Fleet Cleaners. Mark,
